After graduating from Yale University in 2016, Zachary Edelman joined Stris & Maher as a fellow in the firm’s New York office. He has been accepted to Harvard Law School and plans to enroll in Fall 2017 following his fellowship.
Mr. Edelman joined the firm to learn about the inner workings of a complex trial and appellate firm. He brings to the firm a love of research and writing. Mr. Edelman has written on topics ranging from federal regulation of kosher food fraud to the symbolism of the beaver since the French settlement of Canada. In 2015, he interned at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, where he drafted materials for use in trial and grand jury proceedings.
While at Yale, Mr. Edelman served as the Vice President of Operations for the Yale Political Union and as a health educator in the New Haven public schools, for which he also developed curricula and trained other teachers.
