Catherine Hegdale is a law clerk in Stris & Maher’s Los Angeles office. Ms. Hegdale took the California bar exam in Summer 2017 and will join the firm as an associate upon admission to the bar. In late-2018, she will begin a clerkship with the Honorable Otis D. Wright II, United States District Judge.
Ms. Hegdale received her J.D. from Whitter Law School in 2017, where she graduated first in her class. During law school, she was Chief Justice of the school’s Moot Court Honors Board, a Research Editor of the Whittier Law Review, and a CALI Award recipient in 20 of her courses. She also completed two externships with California Central District judges and one externship with a Ninth Circuit judge.
Prior to and during law school, she worked as a paralegal for a small law firm. Ms. Hegdale received her M.F.A. from the University of California, Irvine in 2004, and her B.A. from the University of Tulsa in 2000.
