Stris & Maher Files Amicus Brief in Transgender Rights Case with Suzanne Goldberg and NAACP

This morning, Stris & Maher, alongside Columbia Law School’s Suzanne Goldberg and the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, filed an amicus brief in Gloucester County School Board v. G.G., a pivotal transgender rights case before the U.S. Supreme Court. The brief is unique, in that it provides an account of the lengthy and troubling history of state actors using public restrooms and similar shared spaces to sow division and instill subordination.
