Topic: The American Bar Association Section of Labor and Employment Law Employee Benefits Committee has invited Radha Pathak and Peter Stris to participate on panels at the Midwinter Meeting in Las Vegas.
Ms. Pathak will participate on a panel about the scope of and law surrounding fiduciary duties under ERISA. Drawing on other areas of law, she and other experts will discuss how the potential liability landscape has changed for ERISA plan fiduciaries, in light of recent case developments.
Mr. Stris will participate on a panel with Elizabeth Hopkins of the U.S. Department of Labor and Mary Ellen Signorelli of the AARP Foundation. They will provide an update on U.S. Supreme Court cases that relate to and impact employment issues and employee benefits.
